Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 – $1,860
- Location: Hospital Respiratory Therapy Unit, Jamestown, NY 14701 — Western New York (Jamestown, Chautauqua County)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour straight night shifts per week (36 hours/week) — night shift respiratory therapist / critical care RT
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel Respiratory Therapist / Travel RT job)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting (respiratory care and ventilator experience preferred)
- Ability to work straight night shifts as needed
- Current New York state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Provide respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities across patient populations
- Deliver care under physician direction and by prescription in all patient care areas of the hospital
- Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, nebulizers) and initiate/adjust mechanical ventilation per protocol
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, manage ventilators, perform airway management and suctioning, and assist with emergency respiratory interventions
- Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs), document care accurately, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and follow safety and infection control standards
