About Our Client

A leading Boston based real estate development and owner's project management firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of life science, academic, and interior projects. This role is ideal for candidates with early career experience in construction or development, particularly those coming from rotational programs with strong field exposure who are ready to transition into an owner's side role.The APM will work closely with senior project managers, developers, and consultants, gaining direct exposure to high profile projects throughout Greater Boston.

Job Description
  • Support senior project managers and development leaders on active projects
  • Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and consultant coordination
  • Participate in design meetings and construction progress meetings
  • Track project documentation and reporting
  • Coordinate with field teams and construction managers
  • Support owner representation duties from planning through closeout
  • Gain exposure to development decision making and project execution

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Early career experience in construction, development, or project management
  • Background in a rotational program or role with meaningful field exposure
  • Experience working onsite with contractors and consultants
  • Interest in life science, academic, or healthcare construction
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Motivation to grow long term within an owner's project management environment
