BigComerce Architect/Developer

Short Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced BigCommerce Architect/Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions on the BigCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BigCommerce APIs, theme development, and integrations with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement BigCommerce store architecture and custom solutions
• Develop and customize themes using Stencil framework
• Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and payment gateways
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and delivery

Required Skills :

• Strong experience with BigCommerce platform
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
• Experience with Stencil CLI and theme customization
• Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and SEO
• Familiarity with Git and agile development methodologies

Nice to Have :

• Experience with headless commerce
• Knowledge of Node.js or other backend technologies
• Prior experience in multi-store or enterprise-level implementations
