- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state eligible)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience — Med-Surg RN or inpatient rehab experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience with interdisciplinary care and discharge planning is a plus
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for Med-Surg and rehabilitation patients
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care across the inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical spectrum
- Supervise and direct Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees as needed
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and promote patient and staff safety best practices
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning from day one
- Deliver patient and family education to support recovery and successful discharge outcomes
- Foster a collaborative, positive work environment and support team-building efforts
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as needed
