Griggsby Station is looking for a motivated Line Cook to join our team! In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our valued guests. You'll work alongside a friendly crew in a clean and energetic kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation during peak hours.
Line cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to recipes and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Operate various cooking equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens.
- Stock and maintain your work area, keeping ingredients fresh and organized.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation by following all company guidelines.
- Plate orders according to kitchen standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work surfaces at the end of your shift.
- Communicate effectively with teammates to maintain a positive and efficient kitchen flow.
Line cook Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen environment (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to pass a food safety certification course (we can help you with this!).
