Must have experience in Labor, Delivery and WILLING TO TRAIN NURSERY AND RECOVERY

ROLE ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Regulatory/Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Associate degree required; bachelors degree preferred.

Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado.

Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.

Current BLS Certification.
Current ACLS certification
Successful completion of EKG course
Unit Specific requirements:

FBC: Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire. o FBC: NRP certification 2. ROLE PURPOSE: Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using appropriate nursing procedures.

The nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
