Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Illinois, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts every other weekend.
Details- Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required
- Charting performed in Epic
- 13-week contract
- Active IL RN license required — pending licenses not accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Maximum of 7 days of time off (RTO) during the contract
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
