Job Description
Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of 10 individuals
- Ensuring the plant is running smoothly
- Implement and adhere to safety practices
- Manage plant production planning
- Manage maintenance across plant and follow up on maintenance jobs
- Ensure products meet specifications
- Hire, onboard and train employees

The Successful Applicant- Education: Degree in chemical engineering or other engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in chemical engineering or a refinery environment
- Desire to lead a team
- Ability to be onsite 5 days/week and one weekend per quarter (where you will be paid extra for that weekend)
- Background as: Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Engineer, Team Lead, etc.
- Three week rotating schedule:
- Week 1: 6 am - 2 pm
- Week 2: 11:30 am - 7 pm
- Week 3: 1 pm - 9 pm
