Roles and Responsibilities:
Supports the Marine Corps’ evolving Command and Control (C2) ecosystem, enabling a resilient, distributed, and data-centric operational capability for the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). This role directly supports the integration, sustainment, and operational employment of C2 systems across the Fleet Marine Force, aligned to the Marine Corps’ transition toward a consolidated C2 portfolio and modernized digital battlefield.
The position focuses on integrating legacy and emerging systems, including platforms such as Tactical Assault Kit (TAK), Project MAVEN-enabled capabilities, and Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S), along with next-generation small-form-factor compute stacks that support edge processing, sensor fusion, and real-time decision-making in contested environments.
Acts as both a technical leader and site lead, ensuring seamless coordination between government stakeholders, operational units, and distributed technical teams while maintaining mission readiness and service delivery standards.
Will work cross-functionally with several departments and those who are performing work at the Government Customers’ sites. Position will be required to travel at the Government Customer’s request. Travel is expected up to 25%.- Serves as the on-site lead and primary interface between MARFORRES Government stakeholders and C4PS personnel, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and contract objectives.
- Provides advanced integration support across USMC C2 systems, enabling interoperability, data exchange, and operational continuity across multiple programs of record.
- Leads the integration and operational use of systems such as TAK, MAVEN-enabled workflows, CAC2S, and other C2 platforms supporting MAGTF operations.
- Supports the Marine Corps’ shift toward a portfolio-based C2 architecture, consolidating disparate systems to improve data sharing, situational awareness, and battle management.
- Oversees and mentors a team of C4I professionals, providing administrative supervision, training oversight, and performance management.
- Coordinates with MCTSSA and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure systems are aligned with testing, evaluation, and fielding efforts.
- Provides Tier 0–2 support oversight, ensuring responsiveness and technical quality meet Fleet Marine Force requirements.
- Enables integration of emerging technologies, including edge compute stacks, AI/ML-enabled analytics, and data transport solutions in support of distributed operations.
- Facilitates information exchange requirements and data flow alignment across warfighting functions and systems.
- Produces operational reports, status updates, and after-action inputs to support leadership decision-making.
- Supports planning and execution of exercises, deployments, and contingency operations.
- Travels as required (up to 25%) to support operational requirements, exercises, and field integration efforts.

Experience/Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Marine Corps C4I and C2 systems, including operational employment in both garrison and deployed environments.
- Experience integrating systems such as TAK, CAC2S, and other C2 platforms across tactical networks.
- Familiarity with data-centric operations, sensor-to-shooter workflows, and AI/ML-enabled capabilities (for example, MAVEN).
- Knowledge of tactical networking, system interoperability, and information exchange requirements.
- Experience supporting distributed operations and operating in contested or degraded environments.
- Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into operational impact.
- TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR POSITION - Must be able to obtain or possess a valid US Passport and by physically qualified to support miliary exercises and contingency operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading teams of 5–10 personnel
- Direct participation in real-world operations strongly desired
- Ability to support a 24x7x365 operational environment with flexibility as mission demands dictate
