Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to support a high-quality Diagnostic Imaging department in New York, NY. This part-time weekend opportunity is ideal for professionals looking for a consistent schedule while delivering excellent patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established clinical protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Acquire, review, and transfer high-quality images to PACS and physician workstations
- Support workflow activities including scheduling, supply management, and coordination tasks
- Assist with onboarding and training of new ultrasound staff when needed
- Respond to patient and provider inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Active ARDMS certification required
- Current RDMS and BLS certification required
- Strong proficiency in ultrasound imaging equipment and related software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard clinical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on patient safety and quality care
Education Requirement
Must meet one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
- High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
