Job Title: Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | 27 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: $45–$50/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

Perform histology laboratory procedures and specimen preparation
Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens accurately
Maintain laboratory quality standards and compliance protocols
Operate histology laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure accurate documentation and specimen tracking
Work independently while meeting turnaround time expectations
Collaborate effectively with pathology and laboratory teams

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program OR Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License OR Certified Histology Technician OR Clinical Lab Technician certification from NYS Education Department
Excellent technical laboratory skills
