🩺 Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical operations through the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and tracking of surgical instruments. This role is critical to maintaining patient safety and infection control standards.

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Disassemble and reassemble complex instruments per IFUs
• Assemble and package instrument trays accurately
• Operate washers, autoclaves, and sterilization equipment
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
• Document sterilization cycles, inventory, and discrepancies
• Follow ANSI/AAMI standards, SOPs, and manufacturer IFUs
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and decontamination areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and operations staff

• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience
• Knowledge of:
• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization processes
• Surgical instruments and tray assembly
• Infection control practices
• Experience with sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation

• CRCST, CIS, or equivalent required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Early shift (6:00 AM start) – finish your day by mid-afternoon
• Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth
