Business/Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document critical business and data requirements.
- Ensure accurate data attribution and seamless source-to-target mapping for enterprise data elements.
- Facilitate the translation of business needs into functional specifications and technical solutions.
- Provide SQL support for data validation and transformation processes.
- Engage in mapping reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to guarantee data integrity and quality.
- Define testing scenarios and support users through integration and acceptance testing phases.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders about progress and potential risks.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in business and data analysis with a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in SQL for data requirement translation and validation tasks.
- Solid experience with data mapping, modeling, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform.
- Background in IT within banking or financial services to understand sector-specific data challenges.
- Familiarity with Agile practices, and tools like Jira and Confluence for workflow management.
- Experience with data quality analysis and utilizing BI tools such as Tableau.
