Full-Time Position
Holy Savior Academy is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to teach Middle School Science and Social Studies for grades 6 - 8. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about academic excellence, committed to fostering a positive classroom environment, and eager to support the mission and values of Catholic education.Someone who will be a team player in our small school community.
Responsibilities- Teach Science and Social Studies courses for students in grades 6 - 8
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Create a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and respect
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration
- Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into instruction
- Support the mission and values of Catholic education
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required
- Valid teaching certification preferred
- Middle school teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to academic excellence and student growth
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
