High School Spanish Teacher
Marin Catholic currently has an opening for a full-time Spanish Teacher in the 2026-27 school year.
Position will begin August 2026
The Spanish program at Marin Catholic strives to give each student a new way to communicate with the world. Students study Spanish to understand that they are part of a larger community and that the study of language is an integral part of how we interact with each other.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency and deep familiarity with the structure of the Spanish language, as well as the cultures of Spanish-speaking populations while also being able to explain historical thinking skills and teaching practices.This person exemplifies a love for the students and a desire to see all students succeed at the highest level. This individual will also need to see collaboration, on both a student and faculty level, as a key to student success.
Qualifications, credentials, experience, knowledge & skills for the position:- Degree in Spanish or related field
- Catholic high school teaching experience, preferred
- Practicing Catholic in good standing, preferred
- Desire to share his/her faith journey
- Student focused and lifelong learner
- Teaching credential, preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, student and staff
- Maintains best professional practices in communicating with peers, students and parents
Salary ($73,866-$116,037) and benefits are according to a Union contract.
Full-time Faculty are eligible for benefits including health and dental insurance, medical and dependent care flex plan, Archdiocesan pension, and 403b.
