Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and Epic experience for a 13-week travel contract in a multi-campus health system.
Details- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Potential to float between multiple campuses as needed, though cross-campus floating is infrequent and typically driven by call-offs, planned time off, or case volume
- Procedures include angiograms, venograms, PICC placement, port-a-cath, vertebroplasty, GI bleed intervention, embolization, biliary tube exchange, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, transjugular biopsy, IVC filter removal, and neuro thrombectomy
- Equipment used includes EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti
- Epic EMR — experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with day off to be determined
- On-call is required
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Valid KY license (KBMIRT) or compact license required; license required if applicable — KY license can be pending at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with neuro thrombectomy cases required
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees must have been separated from the facility for at least one year (from full-time, part-time, or per diem status) before being considered as a traveler
- COVID vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted); flu vaccination required
- Scrubs must not display any agency or brand logos — strictly enforced
- No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted; fingernails must be natural and no longer than 1/4" for those in direct patient care (polish is acceptable)
- No cafeteria on-site; refrigerator and microwave available
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- Candidates should expect to work some holidays; any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
