The Woodburn Police Department is currently hiring for two (2) lateral School Resource Officer positions. This is a permanent position with a five (5) year appointment to the assignment. Upon hire, lateral officers will need to successfully complete initial onboarding and employee training (2 to 4 weeks), accelerated patrol field training program (generally 8 to 16 weeks) followed by a school resource officer training (2 to 4 weeks) before being assigned as a school resource officer within the Woodburn School District.
