Overview:
The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service during the Insperity Golf Tournament. This role requires working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while delivering excellent customer service to guests.The bartender will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure compliance with all alcohol service and safety regulations.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00
This is a seasonal role from May 6, 2026, and will end on May 31, 2026.
This position will remain open until May 31, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests.
- Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Set up and break down bar stations before and after the event.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety guidelines, and local alcohol regulations.
- Handle cashless transactions and operate POS systems as required.
- Work collaboratively with barbacks, supervisors, and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or food & beverage experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar operations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects often.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service (per Texas law).
- TABC certification required (or ability to obtain prior to event).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.
