Lead Florist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Lead Florist to oversee floral production, studio operations, and event execution. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, requiring strong design skills, logistical oversight, and the ability to manage both people and processes.

Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Execution & Onsite Management
  • Lead floral execution for events from start to finish
  • Manage onsite setup, installations, and breakdowns
  • Serve as point of contact during events to ensure seamless delivery
Weekly Readiness & Logistics
  • Prepare weekly event materials, including printing orders and timelines
  • Oversee logistics planning and ensure all event details are organized and accurate
  • Ensure all events are fully prepped and ready for execution
Studio & Operations Management
  • Maintain studio organization, cleanliness, and functionality
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and readiness for event transport
  • Ensure all “out-the-door” SOPs are completed prior to event departures
Supply & Inventory Management
  • Manage floral and hard goods inventory
  • Coordinate supply orders and communicate needs to leadership
  • Ensure proper stock levels for upcoming events
Team & Freelancer Management
  • Hire, schedule, and manage freelance florists as needed
  • Provide direction, training, and oversight to ensure quality standards are met

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and can balance both design execution and operational leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in floral design and event execution required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Clean driving record required
  • Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours
