- Shift: Day shifts; schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 40 hrs/week; on-call rotations required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,870 – $3,020

Required Qualifications (CVOR RN / Cardiac OR)- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience (1.5 years considered with Level I or prior travel RN experience)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Connecticut license required prior to start; CT pending accepted
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Able to independently scrub and circulate complex cardiac surgery cases
- Experience with CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, thoracotomy, and advanced cardiothoracic procedures
- Willingness to float within scope as needed
- Influenza vaccination required (no exemptions)
- One professional reference required
- Travel requirement: Not accepting local candidates — must reside more than 75 miles from facility
- Scrub and circulate independently for a variety of complex cardiac surgical procedures
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality perioperative care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic (perioperative charting)
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergent cases
- Follow facility protocols, sterile technique, and infection control standards
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric cardiac surgery patients
- Support, precept, and mentor less-experienced perioperative staff as needed
- Competitive weekly pay range: $2,870 – $3,020
