RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Provide competent clinical nursing care in an ICU setting consistent with professional standards
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
- Report to and work under the Nurse Manager/Director
- Assess and care for patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
- Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
- Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
- Participate in interdisciplinary team evaluations and patient care discussions
- Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans
- Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers
- Participate in education programs and professional development activities
- Required certifications: North Carolina RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC), ACLS certification
- Required education: Nursing diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited nursing school
- Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
