Job Description
  • Manage and maintain attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.
  • Assist with billing processes, including preparing invoices and tracking expenses.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant case materials as needed.
  • Provide administrative support during meetings, including taking notes and preparing minutes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support department projects and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Administrative Assistant should have:

  • 3+ years of legal support experience, ideally in a Big Law environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to multitask.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
