Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 – $1,870 (competitive travel OT pay)
- Location: Ahoskie, North Carolina 27910 – small-town living with access to parks and a relaxed lifestyle
- Position: Travel Occupational Therapist / Travel OT – Hospital (Adult Acute & Outpatient)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours/week (5 x 8-hour shifts) — Guaranteed Work Week
- On-Call: Possible holiday on-call for acute care (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, as needed)
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs with gray/white undershirt, or khaki pants with navy polo
- Active Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina (NC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist; travel OT experience preferred
- Experience treating both adults and pediatrics in outpatient and acute care settings preferred
- Ability to cover adult/geriatric acute care (including stroke and ortho) as needed
- Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Deliver occupational therapy services across acute care and outpatient clinics for adults and pediatric patients
- Manage a mixed caseload (~70% adults: orthopedic, neurological, fine motor; ~30% pediatrics)
- Provide acute care coverage for adults/geriatrics when outpatient volume is low or as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, PT, SLP, physicians) to develop individualized care plans
- Perform assessments, therapeutic interventions, discharge planning, and family/caregiver education
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in holiday on-call coverage for acute strokes and orthopedic cases as required
