We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable individuals to serve as Subject Assistants for a short-term event assignment. This role is ideal for retired teachers or candidates with prior teaching or educational support experience who thrive in structured, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Assistant
- Assist with creating, organizing, and distributing materials as directed
- Communicate updates and changes to assigned groups in a timely manner
- Perform general clerical duties, including equipment testing and photocopying
- Set up and maintain Leader/Reader workstations with necessary materials and supplies
- Monitor and ensure all required forms are completed and returned
- Obtain and manage supplies, requesting additional materials as needed
- Ensure all computers and equipment are operational at the start of each workday
- Identify and report issues and recommend solutions when appropriate
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist and respond to participant inquiries professionally
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior teaching or education-related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
