Overview:

The Director of Partnerships will spearhead growth and expansion across Texas for SESI. Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnerships, this role collaborates with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to design and implement a strategic sales plan, cultivate strong relationships with district stakeholders, and drive new business revenue.

The ideal candidate brings a deep knowledge of the K-12 education landscape, proven experience in special education, alternative education, and/or consultative sales, and a strong commitment to advancing outcomes for diverse learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship & Account Management
  • Build and sustain high-trust relationships with district leaders, special education directors, and school board members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner districts, ensuring effective communication and successful implementation of partnership programs.
  • Apply key account management strategies to strengthen long-term relationships and identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
  • Pipeline Growth and Development
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals within assigned territories.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiating, and closing partnership agreements.
  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities through targeted outreach, market insights, and participation in industry conferences and events.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate SESI’s value proposition to district stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Engage in regular internal planning and strategy sessions to advance growth
  • Collaboration & Strategy
  • Partner with internal teams—including marketing, operations, finance, people, and government relations—to refine go-to-market strategies and enhance partner
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and consistent sales forecasts to track market trends and competitor activity to inform and adjust sales
  • Travel Expectations
  • The person in this position should expect to travel 30-50% of the time.
  • This position will cover the Dallas/Fort Worth area but can cover all 50 states as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in K-12 education, preferably in special education or alternative education
  • Background in business development, sales, or managing educational partnerships (preferred but not required).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed goals and/or growth
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building
  • Familiarity with school district funding and special education laws (e.g., IDEA).
  • Strategic, results-driven, and comfortable navigating complex
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region and occasionally for company-wide

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $120,000.00/Yr.
