Hydraulics Quality Technician
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for an experienced Hydraulics QA Inspector in the Boca Raton, FL area. This position is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with experience in aerospace, defense, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing.
The QA Inspector will be responsible for inspecting precision manufactured parts, subassemblies, and completed assemblies to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision manufactured components
- Use inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect parts and assemblies for compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and document nonconforming or rejected material
- Ensure measuring and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow established quality procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3+ years of QA/QC inspection experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, CNC machining, or a precision machine shop
- Hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of dimensional tolerances
- CMM, optical comparator, profilometer, or similar inspection-equipment experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience highly preferred
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: $24 - $25 per hour
