Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Current active PTA license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to hold state licensure prior to the assignment start.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a licensed PTA providing care in home health or community-based settings preferred. (Client preference.)
- Experience conducting home visits and managing a home health caseload, including documentation of patient status and implementation of treatment plans under the direction of an RPT.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license required for home visits. Agency-required liability insurance as applicable.
- Proficiency with basic computer use, including email, navigation of electronic records, online training, and user account/password concepts.
- Ability to follow physician orders and practice under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Preferred: prior experience with electronic documentation systems used in home health settings.
