Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with home health patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Current active PTA license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to hold state licensure prior to the assignment start.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a licensed PTA providing care in home health or community-based settings preferred. (Client preference.)
Experience conducting home visits and managing a home health caseload, including documentation of patient status and implementation of treatment plans under the direction of an RPT.
Current CPR certification.
Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license required for home visits. Agency-required liability insurance as applicable.
Proficiency with basic computer use, including email, navigation of electronic records, online training, and user account/password concepts.
Ability to follow physician orders and practice under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Preferred: prior experience with electronic documentation systems used in home health settings.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Home Health.
Shift Name: Evenings.
Shift Pattern: 5x8 evening shifts.
Work includes home visits and periodic office meetings.
