Job Summary:

The role requires the ability to operate GE CT imaging equipment, including 8 scanners with varying slice capabilities, and to deliver excellent patient care while adhering to departmental standards. Candidates should bring their license on their first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Shift: Nights, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Wednesday through Friday; call 1-2 times per month on Wed/Th/Fri from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, with planned shift hours applying only during scheduled days
• Required Qualifications: Active Nebraska Medical Radiographer License; ARRT (CT) (Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of experience in a similar role; proficiency with computer systems including email; excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task and handle challenging patient or customer interactions; experience with General Electric (GE) CT equipment and EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: Will be floating within the CT department across multiple locations, but within the same management structure. The department employs eight CT scanners, and the candidate will participate in a six-week orientation that includes department-specific training, wellness checks, and procedural education.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience and prior work at Nebraska Medicine within the last 12 months are preferred but not required.
