Job Description

The responsibilities of a Project Manager:

• Lead projects from conceptual planning and preconstruction through final closeout.
• Participate in budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction planning efforts.
• Coordinate bidding activities, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with estimating, field, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct constructability reviews and develop trade scopes.
• Manage permitting processes and utility coordination.
• Develop and maintain project schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and maintain project quality standards.
• Ensure project milestones, safety requirements, and client expectations are achieved.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

• 5-10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience leading at least two projects in a Project Manager capacity.
• Proven success managing projects valued at $10M+, with preference for experience on projects ranging from $40M-$70M.
• Strong leadership experience managing project teams and field personnel.
• Expertise in CPM scheduling, contract administration, budget oversight, and cash flow management.
• Experience working on occupied renovations and active campus facilities is highly preferred.
• Preconstruction experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Autodesk products, PlanGrid, and Submittal Exchange.
• Strong communication, client management, and organizational skills.
