- PPECPOSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nursing care per physician orders and individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with Florida PPEC regulations (59A 13).
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient response.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and required reports.
- Educate families on patient needs and care techniques.
- Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments.
- Support emergency response and infection control procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Active Florida RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to perform clinical interventions and document care accurately.
- Background screening and TB clearance required.
- Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and assist in patient positioning and emergency response.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Visual and auditory acuity to monitor children and medical equipment.
- Manual dexterity to perform care tasks safely.
This role complies with Florida PPEC regulatory requirements. Employee must maintain credentials, complete mandatory training, and adhere to infection control, emergency preparedness, and patient safety standards.
