We are a leading design‑build General Contractor / Construction Manager delivering complex, high‑profile projects across New Jersey. As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project teams from preconstruction through close‑out and help deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Job Description
What You'll Do
As an APM, you will be a key member of the project management team, supporting the successful execution of multiple projects:
- Assist with day‑to‑day management of construction projects from planning through completion
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Assist with project scheduling, progress reporting, and documentation
- Participate in jobsite meetings and client coordination
- Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

The Successful Applicant
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in construction project coordination or management (internship experience considered)
- Experience with design‑build and/or CM delivery methods preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with construction software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar preferred)
- Interest in long‑term career growth within a leading construction firm
