Pay Rate: $32 – $36 per hour
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)

Schedule: Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through accurate specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in phlebotomy and EKG procedures, along with excellent patient interaction and clinical coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and collect clinical specimens while ensuring proper patient identification
  • Educate patients on specimen collection procedures and testing requirements
  • Conduct non-invasive cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
  • Accurately document patient data and test results in electronic medical records
  • Ensure all lab requisitions and documentation are complete and compliant with standards
  • Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and address patient concerns professionally
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate workflow and patient care activities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following PPE protocols
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages as needed
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement
  • Deliver excellent patient service while maintaining professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
  • EKG Certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
