Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) for a high-acuity Operating Room travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a skilled surgical professional with previous travel experience and Level I Trauma Center experience.

The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and perioperative teams during surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique and supporting efficient surgical workflow in a fast-paced trauma environment.

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and sterile supplies for procedures
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical cases
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during operations
• Assist with patient positioning and OR preparation
• Maintain accurate surgical counts for instruments, sharps, and sponges
• Support infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff
• Assist with OR turnover and preparation between surgical cases

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Strong Operating Room surgical skills required
• High skills checklist rating required
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure surgical settings
