Senior Solutions Architect - Data Analytics & AI, Partner Solutions Architect

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect with proven experience in AI and data architecture to join our Partner Solutions Architecture team in North America. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic partners, helping them architect secure and scalable AWS-integrated solutions that leverage AI/ML services and modern data platforms.You will work backwards from customer needs to design partner solutions that drive sustainable value and accelerate AWS adoption across thousands of advertisers and enterprises globally.
Key job responsibilities
Architect and design scalable AI/ML and data solutions with strategic partners using AWS services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, and other AI/data services)Provide technical leadership on complex partner opportunities, guiding solution architecture from ideation through production deployment
Lead solution ideation sessions and technical account planning with partners to identify opportunities for AI/ML and data-driven solutions
Conduct architectural reviews and provide best practices guidance on data platform design, ML pipelines, and AI solution patterns
Design and implement agentic AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Strands Agents SDK, and multi-agent orchestration patterns
Guide partners in building production-grade autonomous AI systems across horizontal (SDLC/application modernization) and vertical (industry-specific) use cases
Drive partner enablement through technical workshops, immersion days, and thought leadership content focused on AI/ML and data architecture
Collaborate with AWS product teams to provide partner feedback and influence AI/ML and data service roadmaps
Ensure security, compliance, and architectural excellence in partner-built solutions through structured review frameworks
Support partner competency development and certification in AI/ML and data analytics domains
A day in the life
Review and respond to partner technical questions via email and Slack. Join architecture review calls to validate partner solution designs. Write code samples and integration guides for partner engineering teams. Conduct hands-on workshops demonstrating AWS service integration patterns.Collaborate with AWS account teams on joint customer opportunities. Update technical documentation and reference architectures. Troubleshoot partner deployment issues and optimize performance. Meet with partner product managers/CPO/CTO to discuss roadmap alignment.
Create demo environments showcasing joint solutions. Present solution to Partner's customers. Provide feedback to AWS service teams based on partner requirements.

We serve as the bridge between AWS's capabilities and partner-built solutions that drive innovation globally.Our team operates through a structured engagement model supporting partners at multiple service levels - from dedicated annual planning with managed accounts to scaled community enablement through workshops and technical content. We measure success through design wins, partner revenue growth, API adoption, and the quality of solutions we help bring to market.

- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 2+ years of technology/software sales experience- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
- Experience with data architecture, AI/ML solution design, or related technical roles
- Experience architecting and implementing AI/ML solutions at scale, including experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, scikit-learn) and ML platforms
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Machine Learning Specialty, Data Analytics Specialty)
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as solutions architect, technical consultant, or professional services
- Experience with Deep Learning architectures and Transformer models (BERT, GPT, T5, etc.) including training, fine-tuning, and deployment at scale
- Experience with Agentic AI Solution Framework including:
- Multi-agent system architecture and orchestration patterns (supervisor agents, agent-to-agent collaboration)
- Amazon Bedrock AgentCore implementation and AWS Strands Agents SDK
- Integration with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, LangChain, AutoGen)
- Agentic protocols including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A)
- Memory management strategies (short-term/long-term memory, session state, context management)
- Tool integration and API orchestration for autonomous agent systems
- Agent workflow patterns (ReAct, Chain-of-Thought, Reflexion, dynamic replanning)
- Security, governance, and observability frameworks for production agent systems
- Container-based agent deployment on Amazon EKS/ECS
- Autonomous decision-making, contextual reasoning, and goal-oriented agent design
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend, Forecast) and AWS data services (Redshift, EMR, Glue, Kinesis, Lake Formation)
- Experience with generative AI, large language models, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems
- Experience architecting production-grade MLOps pipelines and data governance frameworks
- Background in partner enablement, technical training, or thought leadership
- Experience working with consulting partners, systems integrators, or technology partners
- Publications, presentations, or speaking engagements at industry conferences on AI/ML or data architecture topics
- Strong business acumen with ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
