Brock Canada Industrial Ltd., located in Kitimat, BC, is seeking to hire a full-time, permanent Foamed Insulation Applicator. The ideal candidate will possess a trade certificate or diploma, have the ability to communicate in English, and have 1 2 years of experience in the insulation field.

Key Responsibilities: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

Select the appropriate type of insulation required.
Instruct apprentices.
Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
Supervise other workers.
Apply waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.
Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
Estimate costs and materials.
Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.

Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, mould, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.

What We Offer:

Competitive wage: $32.50 $45.00 per hour (based on experience)
