Data Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a Data Engineer on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, PA.
Summary:The Data Engineer will be tasked with translating data requirements into applications, as well as needing to analyze, define, develop, and maintain complex database structures and a viable integration ETL architecture, and applications.
REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field., or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience leveraging Informatica PowerCenter/Informatica Cloud toolset experience
- 3+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Integration
- 2+ years of experience as ETL Architect or Designer, including experience installing and configuring database and ETL software is highly preferred
- Knowledge of operating systems hardware and software, relational databases, and software development tools including but not limited to: Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL-Server, Erwin; MS Access, and Excel are highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to solve problems and multitask
