Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staffed beds
- X-Ray department; no floating within the unit, but all travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- On-call required 3 shifts per month
- Weekends not required
- Block scheduling is required
- Charting via Epic (required)
- Free parking available on-site
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Active and applicable certifications required
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position; minimum 1 year of experience as a traveler is required
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Minimal RTO is preferred for this position
- Scrubs may be any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB are required for consideration
