Job Description
  • Manage all phases of ground‑up municipal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and public stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and public bid requirements and regulations
  • Lead project meetings and act as the primary point of contact for clients and municipalities
  • Manage procurement, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Identify risks early and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and inspection requirements
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

The Successful Applicant
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
  • Proven experience managing ground‑up municipal or public sector projects
  • Strong understanding of public bidding processes, codes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in regulated environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Within a commutable distance to Athens, GA
