Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Springfield, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and active ACLS certification.
Details- Located in a 109-bed hospital in Springfield, TN
- Assignment in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Unit 746)
- Procedures performed include LHC, R/LHC, stent placement, peripheral angiography, LINQ implant/explant, generator changes, and pacemaker implants
- Uses Philips cath lab equipment and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
- Meditech EMR is used for documentation
- Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with possible variation to 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- 13-week contract
- Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Moderate sedation experience required
- Strong critical thinking skills required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- Professional reference required (one reference for most states; two references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Navy blue scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible, no exceptions
