Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with chemotherapy certification to join a high-performing outpatient oncology team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and manage side effects effectively
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR system
• Adhere to oncology nursing standards, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN License (must be valid at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience (outpatient experience preferred)
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
• Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
