- Ability to complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
- Comfortable working in a rotating med-surg environment as needed
- Strong professional communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with complex needs
- Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Maintain a calm, organized approach in a fast-paced unit
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate bedside care
