Role: Data Scientist (Contract)Location: Remote, Bellevue WA Rate: Negotiable We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets and extract valuable insights that will drive strategic decision-making andoptimize our operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across various departments. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business challenges and opportunities where data science can provide actionable insights and solutions.
Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources including network operations, customer interactions, sales, and marketing. Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast customer behavior, network performance, and other relevant metrics to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that mayimpact business performance. Utilize advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis to solve complex problems.
Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions. Build and maintain data pipelines and automation workflows to streamline data processing and analysis tasks. Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Stay informed about the latest developments in data science, telecommunications technology, and industry trends toidentify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Required Skills: Proven experience working as a Data Scientist in the telecommunications industry or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and manipulation. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn,PyTorch) for model development and evaluation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills: Experience in the telecommunications or related industries SparkSQL, Databricks, Hadoop, Azure Cloud Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D preferred.
