Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit (RN – Med Surg) - RN#1325

Job Type: Full-Time

• Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)
• Night Shift (Rotating Weekends)

• Base Pay: $27.72/hr – $36.30/hr (up to 10 years of experience)
• Experienced RN Rate: Up to $39.60/hr (15+ years experience)
• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hr
• Sign-On Bonus:
• $10,000 for Day Shift
• $15,000 for Night Shift

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Unit is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in alignment with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and experience.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout shifts
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
• Perform ordered treatments and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge planning
• Provide compassionate, responsive bedside care
• Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement initiatives

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (acute care experience preferred but not mandatory)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
