Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details- Med/Surg unit of an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend availability required
- On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients
- Responsibilities include health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and patient referrals
- Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent Intermountain Health employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN is preferred but not required
