Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Denver, CO (80220). Night-shift travel nursing opportunity for experienced L&D / obstetrics nurses with BLS, ACLS, NRP and EFM/AWHONN certifications. Join a collaborative maternal-newborn team in a modern hospital in vibrant Denver, Colorado.
Job Details- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery RN (L&D Nurse, Obstetrics Nurse)
- Assignment Type: 13-week Travel Contract
- Location: Denver, CO 80220 (Denver healthcare, Colorado nursing jobs)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- End Date: August 3, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 – $1,820 (competitive travel nursing pay)
- Unit: Labor & Delivery – 12 beds; 8 triage beds; 11 antepartum beds
- Facility: Modern hospital with Centricity, GE monitors, Meditech EMR
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; must be eligible to practice in Colorado
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP required
- AWHONN certification or EFM certification required
- Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital RN experience (Labor & Delivery experience preferred)
- Strong team-player, flexible attitude, and effective communication skills
- Preferred: Travel nursing experience, PACU experience, Meditech proficiency
- Provide comprehensive maternal-newborn nursing care across Labor & Delivery, triage, and antepartum units
- Assist and support vaginal and C-section deliveries, and intraoperative nursing for OB procedures (D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation)
- Perform and assist with cerclage placement and external cephalic versions as needed
- Monitor, assess, and manage high-risk OB patients and newborn stabilization in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Use advanced monitoring equipment (GE monitors) and document care in Meditech EMR accurately
- Maintain patient safety, follow hospital policies, and deliver family-centered care for mothers and babies
- Work in a modern facility with supportive L&D teams and up-to-date technology
