- Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Location Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Cerner Experience required
- Current certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
- IMPORTANT: Facility will ONLY consider Medical Technologist & Med Lab Scientist. Med Lab Technician will NOT be considered.
- Experience using Sysmex systems
- Experience using CellaVision systems
- Competency in performing differentials accurately
- Experience managing complex samples including:
- Turbid specimens
- Platelet clumps
- Abnormal cell findings
Facility Environment
This is a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds) with a very high workload and fast pace. The facility includes large neonatal units where performing differentials accurately is a critical part of daily operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The facility is seeking a candidate who:
- Has worked in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds)
- Understands high-volume workload and pace
- Is already competent in performing differentials (especially for neonatal samples)
- Has experience managing a wide variety of complex samples daily
- Can transition quickly with minimal training
