Position Overview

Join Voice Up as a remote Social Impact Leadership Mentor, guiding the next generation of change-makers in their leadership journey. This 100% flexible, virtual position allows you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining your own schedule and location independence.

Core Role

Support emerging leaders involved in the criminal justice syste. (ages 7-21) as they develop and implement social impact initiatives that matter to them. Serve as a consistent mentor, guide, and resource connector while helping students navigate their leadership development journey.

The age level groupings are as follows
7 to 9
10 to 12
13 to 15
16 to 18

19 to 21

Flexibility Structure
  • 100% Remote: Work from anywhere with reliable internet
  • Flexible Schedule**: 10-15 hours/week minimum

Primary Responsibilities
  1. **Student Support (40% of role)**
  • Provide 1:1 virtual mentoring sessions
  • Guide students through course modules
  • Offer feedback on leadership projects
  • Track student progress and growth
  • Facilitate peer connections
  1. **Project Guidance (30% of role)**
  • Help students refine social impact ideas
  • Connect students to relevant resources
  • Provide project development feedback
  • Support impact measurement efforts
  • Guide documentation processes
  1. **Community Building (20% of role)**
  • Facilitate local outreach and virtual group discussions
  • Create supportive peer environments
  • Organize virtual collaboration spaces
  • Connect students with similar interests
  • Build mentor-mentee relationships
