Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging / Manufacturing Associate to support production and packaging operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting packaging and processing equipment while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced production setting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging and manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor production processes and make equipment adjustments to maximize efficiency and product quality.
- Operate automated and semi-automated machinery used in packaging and processing operations.
- Package products by filling, labeling, sealing, or placing materials into containers according to established procedures.
- Complete batch records, production logs, and associated documentation accurately and timely.
- Work within a computerized manufacturing environment and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, operational issues, or process abnormalities to appropriate personnel.
- Support inventory handling, shipping, receiving, storage, and material movement activities as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and operational performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support daily production goals and schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, production, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within electronic manufacturing systems.
- Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the role.
