Job Description

Construction Manager - Prominent GC - Maine Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preconstruction process & start-up plan
  • Assisting in project buy-out & scheduling
  • Providing daily oversight of construction project
  • Creating and implementing a site logistics plan
  • Scheduling the sequence of activities and identifying the resources required to create a successful schedule
  • Implementing on-site QA/QC Program
  • Enforcing the site-specific safety plan
  • Ensuring job site operations are in compliance & completed on schedule, within budget, to quality standards
  • Maintaining an effective and open dialogue with the project team
  • Running weekly project and subcontractor meetings
  • Understanding client needs, wants, preferences & exceeding expectations
  • Continuously promoting positive subcontractor relations
  • Overseeing budget management, cost control, and invoice reviews
  • Assisting with RFIs, Submittals, and complete change orders as necessary
  • Mentoring and coaching direct reports

The Successful Applicant

Construction Manager - Prominent GC - Maine Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience (as a Super)
  • Project experience within commercial and/or multifamily
  • Experience managing projects $10M+ in value
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
