Location Controller

The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, and business analysis while identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic financial oversight with hands-on execution in a growing manufacturing and distribution business.
Essential ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting and finance activities for the business.
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, forecasts, and executive reporting packages.
Partner with business leadership to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives.
Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and cost analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
CPA strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, or Finance Director experience.
Manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or consumer products experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting acquisitions or business integrations is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
